The Big Apple prepares to be ‘Dussault-ed’ by native Vancouver street-artist Jason Dussault during up-coming NYC Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

The ‘Deconstructive/Constructive’ exhibition is set to open March 3rd at the new Hoerle-Guggenheim Gallery, housing pop, street and graffiti art on New York City’s West 23rd.

“Fido” by Jason Dussault.

Jason’s large-scale mosaic and multi-media pieces will be exhibited alongside the likes of big names Picasso, Dali and Warhol and internationally recognized fellow street artist RETNA.

Combining multiple mediums into “nostalgic iconography” that re-ignites and calls into question the magic and memories of youth, Jason reconstructs the medium of mosaic with a bold, contemporary style.

Gallery director Philippe Hoerle-Guggenheim, in a recent Artnet interview commented, “Jason’s work shows figures we can all relate to. It is generational and we all grew up reading and seeing heroes in action. It resonates.”

The exhibition is open at the Chelsea-based gallery between March 3rd and April 2nd. Take a closer look at Jason Dussault, the Hoerle-Guggenheim Gallery and NYC Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for more information about up-coming exhibitions and events.
